My Story

Chapter One

My Story

Childhood

I was born and raised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in a warm and close-knit family. As an only child, I grew up surrounded by encouragement and support. My father, an American with a career in international import and export, introduced me to a global perspective from an early age, while my Dutch mother nurtured my appreciation for art, creativity, and culture. Looking back, those early years shaped my curiosity, broadened my outlook, and laid the foundation for the person I am today.

Education

After completing my primary and secondary education in Rotterdam, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam. My years at university provided not only a solid foundation in business, finance, and management, but also strengthened my analytical thinking, curiosity, and understanding of global commerce. It was there that my passion for international business truly began to take shape.

Career

My career began in the fine wine industry, where I quickly discovered a passion for the craftsmanship, heritage, and global culture behind every bottle. Years of working across Europe's leading wine regions and international trade events broadened my industry knowledge and professional network. In 2020, I established my own wine distribution company in Los Angeles, specializing in premium French wines. Guided by professionalism, long-term relationships, and a commitment to excellence, I continue to connect exceptional wines with clients who appreciate quality and authenticity.

Chapter Three

Wine & Heritage

Wine is not merely a beverage — it is a language. A conversation between soil, climate, and the hands that tend it. My journey into the world of fine wine began with a single glass of Château Margaux, and has since grown into a life's work.

Through global partnerships, curated collections, and a deep respect for winemaking tradition, I have built bridges between the great châteaux of Bordeaux and discerning collectors across Asia, Europe, and beyond.

Chapter Four

Giving Back

I believe that success is most meaningful when it can be shared with others. Supporting children and families in need has always been a cause close to my heart. Through local charities in Los Angeles and humanitarian relief efforts during the war in Ukraine, I have been fortunate to contribute in small but meaningful ways. These experiences continue to remind me that kindness, compassion, and responsibility are values worth carrying throughout life.

Charity, for me, is not a gesture — it is a practice. A quiet, consistent commitment to leaving the world more generous than I found it.
